Super Smash Bros Brawl - Newcomer: Cloud Strife

Hey there folks! Today I'm going to show you something I've been working on over the past couple of days. It's a long way off completion, and still has a few flaws to fix, but it's working out ok at the moment. PSA: Cloud.


Cloud replaces Ike in Brawl, and I'm hoping to give him a moveset similar to the one seen in Super Nuke Bros. Melee. Sadly, that may not be completely possible.

I've done a bit of texture and model editing, as well as some animation editing, and hopefully you should all be able to enjoy Cloud. Some of his textures haven't quite come out right (for example, the alpha channels on the sword), but I should be able to fix those, and if not, they aren't too much of a problem.

I also intend Cloud to have a full set of alternative costumes, and some of these may be familiar to you (for example, his Red Team costume is his design from Kingdom Hearts, and his Black costume is his design from Advent Children).


All I have so far are a few screenshots of all the Clouds in action, so take a look at them.

Also: it looks good, but nothing shall replace Ike.

Bleh, focus on making marth Roy, he's way too awesome to be let out. But rofl at textures, never done it so I wouldn't know, but can you like put like more body parts on the characters, or can you just change the colors?

You can only take parts out, not add them in. Unless, I suppose you somehow have a modelling program that can export into the filetypes used by Brawl.

I know everything, sadly enough all I've seen is poor editing (so poor *chuckles*), so having someone who knows what he's doing would be nice.

At least you know how to make an instant post, I didn't even get to browse some hawt pr0n before you replied. But I guess that's a good thing since I'm on the schools computer...
