It's a fanmade replica.

It only attaches to walls, not to the Sky.
I actually Thought of it as a Recovery sort of item, but 'k. People can't be harmed by the portal blasts as well.

Oh, and I enjoy saying "hur" a lot.

Anyway, in regards to items.... how about something from Robocalypse? A DS RTS game that turned out to be very popular and unique. But then... that's more of an idea for an AT.

For a DS the interface was very, very good. I've never had any problems with it. It was simple, and simple is best, to be frank. You might need a good ten minutes or so to learn it properly, but after that, you're all set..

And yeah, it was popular. The whole reason they're making (or made?) a Robocalypse game for the Wii is because of it's surprisingly large fanbase.

Your welcome, but I would change the "Maybe we could add" to "Maybe the developers could add".
For multiple reasons:

1. It's what Gregboy says, and he's a N00B.
2. You are not part of the team, and saying "we" implies you are a part of the development.
3. It's better to give examples, anyway.

Anyway,here are the Super Mario Galaxy Item ideas!
Bee Mushroom:You'll be able to fly for a while.It'll have the same flight gauge from Galaxy.You'll have the suit on for about 15 seconds.It will instantly wear off if you die or touch water.
Boo Mushroom - You'll turn into a Boo and be able to float,and turn invisible.This would last for 10 seconds.It can wear off instantly,but that will be introduced later.
Spring Mushroom - You'll just,jump higher. Awesome
The Fire and Ice Flowers will have the same effect from Galaxy,except with the Ice Flower,you can freeze other players,freeze water,skate,and throw ice balls.
Rainbow Star - You'll be invincible(of course),but your attacks will be stronger and you'll move faster.Much rarer than the regular Star.
I don't know what the Rock Mushroom would do.
Cloud Flower - You'll have 3 clouds following you.I don't know how you can activate them,but for Mario and Luigi(if he's confirmed),you just need to do the Mario Tornado/Luigi Cyclone.
Now for the fruits.These might only be eaten by Yoshi and Kirby,but I'm not exactly sure.
Dash Pepper - Your running will be increased,including that you will breathe fire.
Blimp Fruit - Same thing in the game for Yoshi(he'll have an air gauge),but for Kirby,I don't know what could happen.
Bulb Berry-Same for both of them:they'll light up and turn yellow.This is one of the ways to instantly wear off the Boo Mushroom.
All items will be on the battlefield except the Blimp Fruit.
The Blimp Fruit will be floating in midair,on either side of the battlefield.
Tell me what you think,and any item could be different(what you think they should do).Last,tell me if I missed any items,or tell me if any items from SMG should be added. Smile
EDIT:I'll soon be posting New Super Mario Bros. Wii Items.

Well,I finally came up with some New Super Mario Bros. Wii Items!
Propeller Mushroom- It's movements will be the same when it appears on the field,to activate it,just spin for Mario and Luigi,I guess you have to press the jump button again for other characters.When you fly up or drop down,this can hurt other players.Going up:5% damage every time you get hit,so this means this is a continuous hit attack.Dropping down:10%.You can only get hit once.
Penguin Suit-You'll be able to slide on your belly,shoot ice balls,and walk perfectly on ice.
Mini Mushroom is the same as Poison Mushroom,only you can run on water,and jump higher.Rarer than the Poison Mushroom.
I'll be thinking of some Sonic items soon! Very Happy

Eh, the suits are not easy to do (custom suits for each character...)
And the Mini Mushroom is kind of useless because of the Poison Mushroom. I know you gave it different properties, but it doesn't make sense to have two tiny varieties of characters...

Oh,anyway,what do you think the Rock Mushroom should do? Neutral
EDIT:Here are 3 Sonic items I've came up with so far.
They are all from Sonic 3.
Fire Shield:Well,it will protect you from fire.Homing attack speed increases if gotten by Sonic or Shadow.Wears off instantly if you die or touch water.
Bubble(Water)shield:I don't know what this would do,but 2 of the things it would do is let you swim longer(if swimming is in the game),and lets you breathe underwater(if there will be an underwater stage in Vs or Adv. Mode).Wears off after 20 seconds or if you die.
Lightning Shield:Same as the game(Coins will come near you in Adv. Mode).Protects yourself from electric attacks.Wears off if you die or touch water.
More Sonic items coming soon.

Never heard of it....I will, however, play Sherlock Holmes for a moment.
Let's see, Chance Cube. Obviously a cube, but Chance is for either random effects or a random item.
Here's one of each:
EFFECTS: The chance cube can either do:
-cause the user to grow big
-cause the user to grow small
-cause the user to have temporary invincibility (with Star music)
-plant a flower on everyone's heads
-"metallisize" the user
-shrink everyone
-freeze all foes

ITEMS: Gives the user an item Razz

You could also just add "give to items" to the list of effects.
