The Konami laserscope/gun sight. Waaaay cooler than the ray gun, cuz you get to shoot lasers out of your FUCKING EYES!

how about a Nuke(bomb)? basically whoever uses it is safe every1 else gets hurt by a huge explosion. simple(sort of) yet deadly

The Super Leaf from Super Mario Brothers 3.

The character simply equips it to gain the awesome Raccon ears and tail for a short perios of time (15-20 secs).

While the Super Leaf is activated the character can prefom a THIRD jump mid air by flapping it's tail once (hard). And holding down the jump button will cause you to fall down slightly slower. This WOULD make som confuses with multi jump characters such as Kirby or Jigglypuff. But it's an Idea all right.

That's a nice idea. However, it would be extremely hard to have ear and tail detection on characters, because
our game doesn't use 3D models, but drawings. So when a character does a spin or flip, the ears wont stick to the head,
since it is a new drawing.

Why do that for SMB3 when you can do the P-wing? It doesn't require additions to the character and could allow infinite jumps for a short period of time (their items, they aren't meant to be fair).

It would be easier, and a little clip of the actual P-Wing on the characters body could be easy to do.

Yoshi is it's own franchise in the Smash Games, so Im talking about

Very well.

It's not an item per se, but it was used as one in Yoshi games.

Huffin' Puffins.

The adult would appear and land first, bouncing momentarily where it fell before standing up. When it stands up, 2-3 chicks appear behind it and start following the adult as it walks about. The chicks can be picked up and thrown like any other item. Each one packs just a little more punch than Yoshi's eggs and loops back towards the player after the point where a Yoshi Egg thrown the same way would explode (the hitbox disappears at this point). The puffin will follow the player around for about 5-6 throws and can be stolen. After those 5-6 throws, the Puffin will just fail to loop back (puffins will follow players off the screen if they are hit that way, but will disappear if they fall off). The adult can be jumped on, but has no hitbox. It will disappear after all the chicks are gone.

Not bad for an item I totally just pulled out of my improvisational item, huh?

Description: Basically, they will fall at a random time like a capsul, and you can then attack them to break them, and then you can get any one of these random items:

Name: Jinjo


Description: He jumps out of an egg only to stand still and say "help" for an annoyingly long time until somebody goes over and picks him up, then he functions as a type of ramming item, where attacking will be that your character takes the jinjo and pushes him forward, like a ram.

Name: Ice Key


Description: It pops out of an egg, collecting it will instantley freeze everybody (if you're including freezing.)

Name: Devil Bottles


Description: He's a very agressive character that will start hovering around, get to close and he'll slam you with his pitch fork, what an ass.

Name: Honeycombs


Description: 5 of these will pop out, and eating them will restore 10% health each, like a maximum tomato, but they are spread out.

Wow dude, you seem obsessed with the Banjo Kazooie series. Keep it up, I admire those who still has passion. I only played one of the games, (Banjo Kazooie for the N64) and that was one heck of a game. Sadly I lost my copy of the game somewhere, and I don't remember where.

I'm not as obsessed as I used to, but I still like the franchise, but now I think less of Rare thanks to Microsoft's meddling with them.

If stun knife HAPPENS to be in, could you make it so that executing a backstab on a foe (get them from behind with it, duh) with it has a better effect than a non-backstab hit?
