On topic: Personally, I think it's a nice little idea. I think it'd be rather awesome . The only problem, as already said, the worms are just far too small.

Technically they didn't make him grow.
Apparently the Pikmin world is LARGER than anyone in Brawl. Which means everyone is the same size, rather than Olimar being tiny.
Just in Olimar's world, everything is freaking HUGE....

Not really. That's just my two cents with it. After all, Brawl is not canon....but I like to believe that the Pikmin world is bigger than the other worlds, and just so happens that the tiny things are normal sized compared to the characters of other worlds.

No. It says in Pikmin that Captain Olimar is the size of a quarter. He was made a lot larger for Brawl. But there are a lot more reasons for why a Worm shouldn't be in.

Anyway, to drive this thread back on-topic; Why shouldn't a Worm be included? I think the move-set would be really unique and rather fun to play around with.

Actually the size of Pokemon in the show is different. They often shrink or grow the Pokemon. Charizard was one of the ones they made bigger. Same with Mewtwo, they made him taller.

There are two characters in Brawl that I know how tall they are, Kirby is eight inches tall, and Samus(without her Power Suit) is 6'6'', that means that either Kirby in Brawl is 1' 7.5'', or Samus in Brawl is 1'4''.

If what you said about ZSS is true, than Samus should be the same size as Snake. She is shorter, but not 1'. She is at least 4' in Brawl.
