Assist Trophy/Pokéball idea thread

Sorry to break this Ristar discussion, but I have another idea.

Name: TAC
Series: Kirby

First Appearance: Kirby Super Star (SNES)
Appearance in SNBM: Kirby Air Ride (see photo)
Action: When the TAC is summoned, he will walk around the stage stealing all of the items. Attacking him will cause him to drop the items before running away, just like in Kirby Air Ride. (He will also drop items other than the ones he had just stolen, namely food and sometimes stickers. Unlike KAR, he will do his "Steal" attack you if you get in his way, stealing your item if you have one or simply damaging you. After 60 seconds, TAC blasts off like a rocket.
Probability: In between common and rare.

C-C-C-C-COMBO BREAKER!

Also, I love this idea. TAC is awesome in my eyes.
But what would he do for Smash Balls?

Nothing

I don't know… if the Nuke ball's just floating around, he just ignores it.

Maybe he just steals one item at a time.

If you have more than one item, here's TAC's item priority list showing what he'll steal first:

1. Inventory items (something that gets stored on top of your damage meter)
2. Performance enhancing items (except Starman)
3. Dragoon parts
4. Nuke Ball (He doesn't steal it, it just leaves you like it's been attacked out of you)

I don't know if I've covered everything. I'll need to see more demos to see how the different items will act.

Take ME, for example, Gregboy. I have a tremendous post count (Second only to Callum), and I am well liked. Why? Because I actually contribute. Granted, sometimes I feel useless, as I can't help make the game, I'm not much of a judge for Beta Testing, etc.

Same here bro, except my post count isn't even 100 yet, I don't think I'm well liked here, can't help with the game, etc.

Anywho, On-Topic: I was curious if Ditto was going in as a Pokeball. He was removed from Smash bros Melee (yet left in the Guidebook, and yes, I read those), so I was wondering if he'd be added as a Pokemon in Nuke Melee? Or is the coding way to hard to do?

I would imagine that it would be development Hell, considering that it couldn't be in SSBM. Granted, it was because of the Ice Climbers, but I still think Ditto would be Hell for Nuke...

Because of the Ice Climbers? What do you mean? It didn't have to clone both, just whoever threw it. But you're right, it would be.

Whenever Ditto copied the Ice Climbers in the Beta of SSBM, the game would crash. The Ice Climbers were the reason that Ditto could not be in Melee, and Sakurai did not bother trying again in SSBB.

Source? I don't think Sakurai is /stupid/, the logical thing to do would be to make Ditto copy [one] climber...

It has the gist of the source, though I can't find where I read it being due to the Ice Climbers.
Hell, it may not have been the Climbers at all. Could've just been as it said: processing problems.

Maybe Kakashi from Naruto could be an assist?
When he's summoned,he does summons his dogs(forgot what the jutsu's name was),and they start attacking the other players.

Bumping an old topic, seeing how life is being somewhat breathed in these forums. Three ideas:

The first is a Pokeball:
Gyrados/Red Gyrados: He comes out and floats in the air in a similar manner to Pokemon Stadium. He uses Dragon Rage, where he starts shooting blue fire with a yellow base. It does a set amount of damage, no matter what. If we have shinies (or at least Red Gyrados) then the red one can shoot Hyper Beam instead, where it does MASSIVE damage and knockback, but it's much, much rarer.

These next two, which are assist trophies, run with my Scott Pilgrim idea:

Ramona Flowers:
Ramona appears with her hammer and simply walks around and swings it with might. She can jump too.

Sex Bob-omb:
Scott's band, Sex Bob-omb, all appear ready to rock (With Young Neil, now dubbed as Neil, playing bass instead of Scott). Kim Pine signals with a "4 3 2 1!!!" and they do a short song that makes sound waves appear. The closer you are, the more damage and knockback you recieve.
