CHARACTER IDEA!

I find the lack of Geno depressing.

Okay, I guess he doesn't absolutely have to be added, but he would be interesting.

One WTF character that I can think of that would take the cake would have to be Aka from Dragon King: the Fighting Game.

DKtFG was Super Smash Bros before it was Super Smash Bros. I could provide a few screens if you'd like them, but he fights similarly to Captain Falcon in the first game.

I guess you're right.

I know that Ridley will most likely not be in this game, but if there's ever a need for a 2nd Samus rep that isn't another Samus, this is the guy to choose. I could say that he's much like the Bowser or Ganon of Metroid.

One character I would find very interesting would be Missingno, despite not actually being anything other than a glitch. He would probably have Water Gun, Sky Attack, Item Duplication, and Crash the Game FS.

Well, Im not in a place to make announcements, but be sure to be surprised by Newcomers.

Some will be totally shoe-ins, some will be interesting to certain fans/groups and some we've
added because we see personal potential in them.

This is very important. Please understand that some characters just have no moveset potential whatsoever, and so some popular candidates won't be added because of this. Conversely, some characters that have next to no support for Smash may be included because we see them to have fantastic moveset potential, like <censored>

i folks, just read on newgrounds about this project and i wanted to tell you that it seems pretty good what you're doing!

however, i made up an idea for a character but there are two things:

first: i dunno if someone already came up with this idea (sorry, didn't read all the posts in this forum)
second: i'm still a little confused: will everything be made in flash? i mean, the character moves and designs... will they be animated in flash or as 3D graphics (already asked this on NG)? because my idea was to create Dante (from Devil May Cry) and i thought i could make it, as long as i can make it in flash...

Everything is drawn and animated in Flash, but we aren't asking for people to come in and animate a character they might like in. Every character we have on the roster has had a lot if thought put into them, and we have in depth discussions about how they can work. We were looking for a new member of the staff to help with the animation, since animations take up a lot of time and we have a lot of it to do...

GREAT! so i could join? and if: do you want me to choose one of your character ideas? it'd be fine, just tell me what to do... i'm sure i won't disappoint you guys..

We aren't allowing just anyone to animate for us. Get Callum to check your skillz and stuff. Once your in, you'll have access to a lot of private information that we would prefer to keep disclosed. Leaking it is not an option, so once you're in, you're in for good.

How about the main character from Madworld? He has a ton of moves to use in his moveset, and it adds a bit of brutality to the game which I think is so needed.

In theory its pretty cool, but in execution, it just looks bad. Like in The Dream Mix TV fighters, playing as a transformer vs someone else, like bomberman, or simon belmont, it just makes you go "eeww wtf"
