Character Poll

I definitely wouldn't call it bigger than the Wario Land series. What's so big about a game with a whole bunch of mini-games? Hell, most of which don't even feature Wario in them (from what I've played in WarioWare: Touched!).

Can you honestly say you prefer the low frame-rate movement over what could have been a smooth, more true Wario movement? I say "true Wario movement" because it is undeniably his classic style.

Exactly. I think the same of Rayman as well (as he appeared in an early Brawl concept poster, it seems he was planned on being included), in that if he were in Smash Bros, I would much prefer a more classic style than his currently more popular franchise involving those damn rabbids.

The thing is, popular doesn't mean successful. Just because Wario Ware is currently more popular than Wario Land, it doesn't make it more successful. The fact is, a lot of people buy Wario Ware who really don't care about Wario at all. People who are actually gamers will, roughly 85% of the time, prefer the original series.

No, he wasn't. It was a fanmade poster, as back then, official SSBB art was hard to come by.
And you'll be glad to know the Rayman and the Rabbids have been separated. The Rabbids are now their OWN series, starting with Rabbids Go Home.
Rayman 4 is rumored.

I already knew the series had been separated, I was just giving a reference to a different series for comparison, since I'm a fan of old school Rayman and Wario. Trying to point out that if Rayman were in Brawl, he wouldn't need two movesets, despite having two series based around him.

I quite agree, WL3 was epic. Unfortunately, I could never get hold of a copy myself, so I borrowed my cousins. Good times.

I remember my reaction when the "face" that I was helping ended up being the final boss, and a creepy one at that:

There are rumors that Ike is not in Nuke, so why would the Black Knight be in?

Is it because Ike is definatly a clone of Roy?

Ike was way different from Roy. I personally would like Roy in, maybe with a less cloned moveset.

Well, Roy is more likely than Ike. (I believe Cloud was supposed to replace Ike.)

And Gregboy, Roy and Ike are NOTHING alike. (Except with Neutral Special, but Roy's is better.)

Because he's an enemy to counter Marth. Not only that, but he looks bad-ass. Ike and Marth... well... having two "good guys" just isn't the same.

Black Knight would be suiting for a boss, too. If SNBM is going to implement different "scenarios" in the story mode (e.g. a Fire Emblem scenario), where there'd be maybe two or three little levels where you play as Marth and battle minions, and then reach the boss of the scenario. He would fit nicely there.

I do get too carried away. Excuse my rather rushed typing at times. I just get all hyped up with ideas sometimes.

Well wouldn't it be cool if they put both of them in?

Just keep in the back of your mind that we don't have unlimited character space. It's possible that we put both in, but most people here realise that it's very unlikely.

I disagree. It would make sense if BK appeared in Marth's games as well as Ike's (Like how Porky appeared in Ness' game and Lucas' game, despite being from different times), but since he doesn't, it's like adding The Joker without Batman. Does that make sense?

Anyways, I'd vote for BK as a boss rather than a character, then we wouldn't have to worry as much about Ike being in or not.

Agreed. He's perfect for a boss.

Yeah, I can seriously picture him as a boss. I'd obviously prefer playing as him, but that's not my say. Boss is just fine, IMO.

I imagine him to walk really slowly, and when he attacks, he pulls his arm back and charges for a fairly long while. Hitting him while he's charging would not flinch him, but damage him. Then, he'd bring his arm down with a BAM.
