Meme Characters...

Well, I have a STRONG feeling...

and I mean, STRONG.

That an Internet Meme Character will appear as Playable in SNBM.

Either Weegee or Pedobear, I think.

Looking at 2ndStamp's Youtube accout (I assume 2nd is Callum) He has a thing for Weegee.

If Weegee was playable in SNBM, I would die a happy man. Just saying. :p

Weegee

Combo Attack - Weegee Stiffly Punches, Stiffly Punches with his other Arm, and then pulsates with Dark Weegee-ish Energy.

Air Attack - Weegee Wail

Weegee Stiffly spins about like a Drill bit, drilling his opponents to the Ground. If he does it close enough to the ground, it will
end with a strong Stomp.

Smash Attack - Stare-Beam

Weegee Charges up a beam from his eyes, and releases it in a burst of Red Energy. Very Strong.

Standard Special - Weegee Fist

A Chargable attack. Weegee De-taches his fist and sends it flying forward. It gets bigger as it goes along. The more you charge it,
The bigger and stronger it will get. It dissapears eventually.

Up Special - Viral Vortex

Weegee changes himself into a multitude of Green Dots, and he Spirals upward in a tornado fashion. This deals multiple hits of damage,
and catches and holds the opponent in the vortex. They get poison damage when coming out.

Down Special - Meme Summon

Weegee Summons a random Internet Meme. They are as follows:

Over 9000!!! - Causes Stun Effect
NEDM - Shoots a Flamethrower
The King - Throws Dinner, becomes a health item, eat to regain health
Lol Internet - Ronald McDonald drives by, hits surrounding area

Side Special - Death Stare

Weegee Does his Trademark Death Stare. It is laggy to use, but worth it. It causes stunning for a second, along with good damage and knockback.
Think of it as Weegee's Falcon Punch.

Super Nuke Attack - Weegee-fy

Weegee does a Stagewide Death Stare, Turning the characters within a certain Blast Radius into motionless Weegee Sandbags. They are now sitting Ducks
For a while, so you can unleash all of Weegee's Fury upon them!

Taunt - Weegee Stares at the screen for two seconds. Scaring you.

I doubt it. Weegee is famous for his awkward standing position and seeing him move would spoil the magic.

I kind of agree.

For fans of memes, there are very subtle easter eggs hidden in the game - there are even some in the demo. Try to pause
the screen from time to time and zoom around!

For the Record, Weegee has always moved by floating.

All he would do is stiffly float around. He wouldnt be thaat hard to animate, Obviously. :p

Actually, in some MUGEN versions, Weegee can walk (without bending knees, due to stiffness), and his head occasionally spins Exorcist style.
If Weegee WAS playable, in his idle stance he could spin his head at times, and for his moves, he does not bend arms and knees...
And his voice could be demonic!

How about this, no memes should be playable. Instead, we make up a character who uses them. If we do that, then I say we use a made up character called the Internerd, a nerd who uses internet memes and a computer mouse to his will. I can think of a moveset if y'all would like. If not, then we could give Callum an attack that uses a random yet popular meme with each use, from PINGAS!!! to WeeGee to any others.

It should be fairly clear that Callum already has a full moveset.

The internerd probably wouldn't go down very well in Super Nuke Bros, perhaps for a different fighting game which uses different, original characters some day...

I don't really think a meme-themed character would work. I mean, it's be awesome and stuff, but would it really be fun to play? I think that's more pressing of an issue.
Also, attacks like Shoop-da-Whoop and Rick Rolling over the stage would be too powerful.

I do occasionally joke to myself that Rick Astley should have an appearance in SNBM. Very rare item of some sort, who appears, raises the mic, opens his mouth, and the screen is replaced with the Never Gonna Give You Up music video. The entire one.

There is an issue with anything other than vague references to memes, because a lot of people playing this game (we hope) won't necessarily be internet nerds. Because of this, they probably won't know anything about the significance of Mudkip, or Desu. However, as has already been pointed out, they are at least getting some cameos in there.

I'm still for Weegee being playable.
Especially since Callum lieks him. (Yes, I said "lieks".)

Would his Super Nuke be his stare that turns people into him?

No, that would be his neutral special.
His Super Nuke would have the Realistic Weegee head appear in the background and Weegify EVERY opponent.

Well what would happen if they get turned in to weegee?

They are frozen in place temporarily, and left open for attack. No knockback can be done to them, however.

I didn't say he was playable. I just said I WANT him playable. There is a difference.

Most know him simply as "The King".
Probably because Harkinian is somewhat hard to pronounce...
