Super Smash Bros. Characters' Chances

If I were to bring in Notched Pichu, I'd probably put it as an alt. costume, rather than as the main character.

I find that the Spiky/Notched Pichu is actually more important as:
1. It is a VERY special Pichu. (Cannot evolve, cannot be traded, is always female.)
2. Is a non-legendary that is a star in a film. (Arceus and the Jewel of Life; people think that the 3 dragons and Arceus are the stars, but the Pichu is one as well.)
3. Is a common Pokemon turned Legendary (see 1).
4. Adds another female character to the Smash roster.
5. Sakurai's best excuse to bring back Pichu.

Still, could just be an alternate color, as well as the Pikachu colored one.

I still say it should be the Spikey-eared, but doesn't matter.
This topic isn't about what Pichu should be in Smash Bros.

Last time I checked, Pre-Evolved Form was never considered another name for cloned. And like GoldenYuiitusin said, this isn't a topic discussing what Pichu should/should not be other than being in this game.

I personally would like Pichu in, just take out that stupid "Every electric attack/Special Move hurts him" Bullshit. That was just plain pointless, which made Pichu almost as useless as the Melee Jigglypuff (who was better in Brawl, I kick more ass with her now than then).

AND, he is right. Pichu is a clone. Clone characters refer to characters that copy another characters movesets. In 64, Luigi was a clone. In Melee, Luigi became a Semi-clone, and Pichu, Dr. Mario, Young Link, Falco, Ganondorf and Roy were clones. In Brawl, Falco and Ganondorf were given Semi-clone status, and Lucas and Wolf were added as Semi-clones. Toon Link is the only clone of Brawl.
AND (again) Pichu was given the damaging property because of Pokedex entries and the anime. I liked it, as the moves were stronger than Pikachus'. A fully charged Skull Bash had the same strength of a fully charged Flare Blade. It also gave a sense of strategy, like Lucario's ability. Pichu was a joke character anyway, so it was funny to have the electrical self-damage.
AND (one last time) Melee Jigglypuff useless and Brawl Jigglypuff better? U MAD?!?

@ Gregboy101: You are right about Pichu being a clone, but I can see ways to make it NOT a clone. And the baby Pokemon arguement is pointless. What's next, Mewtwo should not be in because he's Legendary? Or Peach and Zelda because they're princesses? Or Olimar, because he's a "little person"? Very pointless arguement.

I was hoping for Young Link to be in, with a moveset similar to the one I made up for him. None of that clone of Link crap. Nor the "Toon" Link. That was just another clone to replace a clone.
