I wouldn't say that. The only reason they wouldn't let Earthbound on Virtual Console is because they were forced to change the game's dialog in order to let it be released. They decided to let it stay the same and never release it than change it drastically

But yeah I agree with AEM, I think Pokey should be playable
He already said it was a joke, after I explained to him why it was false.

Stage Idea:
Name: Mt. Silver
Game: Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal (with the HGSS design)
Description: It is a multi-layered stage (a stage with a few "floors" of platforms). It is near the peak, so it is snowing hard. Some platforms are icy and can be slippery (I don't know if this is hard to do since Metal Harbor that the dash pads). In the near background a battle is going on. It is between the legendary trainer Red and his challenger Gold (if the GSC trainer is added as a character, some adjustments below could be made). The battle lasts as long as the battle the players are having in the foreground. The battle also happens to intervene the brawl. Pokemon attacking each other could cause shockwaves that harm the players.
Adjustments: If "Gold" is added as a character, then Red could be alone in the background, occasionally sending out some of his pokemon to attack the players, or the Female trainer could be fighting Red. I'd personally go with the first option.

Gold was the best! I'm changing my opinion on the whole Gold/Silver vs. HGSS thing, G/S where the biggest hits and suprises of all, while as good as HGSS are, they can't match the originals.

NEW STAGE IDEA:

Rainbow Ride
In case you guys need/want another Mario stage. No, it's not super long and "wtf?" like Rainbow Cruise, it's based more on a fixed platform in the stage. It goes like this:
There is a large stone platform floating in the clouds above the Mushroom Kingdom. Around it is a Perfect Circle Rainbow that goes 360 degrees. Two Carpets are circling the Large Platform, following the path of the Rainbow. There is also a small permeable (able to go through from the bottom) moving platform going left and right at the bottom of the screen.

I'll draw a picture and scan it for all to see when I can, but for now this is all I have. I may update if you guys want another thing or two added or changed. The music would be (a nuked version of) the Rainbow Ride theme.

I've got a stage idea.
Stage:Starship Mario from Super Mario Galaxy 2
I know it's not big of a stage, but everyone battles on the top of the ship.It would have 2 platforms in the air,moving up and down.
Some Lumas fly in the background,and the ship moves from world to world.
And in each world,it will visit a galaxy.Every galaxy in each world will be random every time you go on the stage.
Music:Starship Mario
It will have unlockable music,so after you brawl on there 10 times, the music for the Yoshi Star Galaxy will be available.It will have about,8 songs you can unlock,
To unlock the stage,you either play as one of the Mario characters 30 times,or brawl on Rainbow Ride 15 times.
Tell me what you think,and tell me if something could be added to the stage.

Name: Aperture Laboratories
Origin: Portal
Description: The stage is set inside of Aperture Laboratories, in the room where GLaDOS resides. Maybe have GLaDOS in the background? http://nicogames.files.wordpress.com/2009/09/2-glados-din-portal.jpg
Stage Size: Smallish, but a but bigger than Battlefield. At least, that is how I feel how big it is.
Tiers: 1
Hazards: Sometimes turrets (aka androids) appear from the ceiling, and they say one of their cool little catchphrases before they open fire. Can easily be destroyed with an attack or two. Neurotoxins sometimes litter the stage, and if you get hit by it, damage is taken.

You don't have to say if it's going to be unlockable or not in your suggestion. That kind of thing is up to the creators.

What you're posting here is ideas. Not final products. If anything, the creators will take some of these ideas, and build on them. The stage most likely won't have everything you write in it. It's good that you're providing detail, yes, but things like music and what-not can be decided by the directors of the actual game later on, y'know?

What's really necessary in a suggestion for a stage is this:

The name.
A thorough description on the overall appearance and events.

Sorry to be nitpicky, but the plural for Chao is not "Chaos". It's simply "Chao". Kind of how "deer" is singular and plural.

Chaos refers to the god of the Chao.
