It's because we missed his birthday about 2 weeks ago. I planned on pposting something, but I slept the whole day. Well finally somebody noticed that, I thought it skipped all of you's mind. But I wasn't actually thinking about that when I posted the post above, Callum, I'm not being negative, I'm being factual.

I want an Animal Crossing stage which has the area with Nookingtons and the Able Sister's shop. You could jump on the rooftops and balloons with items would come every now and again. Also, Kapp'n come in his cab hurting people on the ground level.

Hmm.. Brawl had the privilege of the 3D rendered enviroment from Mario Sunshine. With this being a Flash game and all, we're not so lucky D:

It'd probably take either a lot of people all devoting a few weeks to the sketching and animation, or one guy with no life devoting months and months to sketching and animating. Good luck though.

I don't think Callum would mind that at all. But as I said earlier, a Final Destination stage like the one in melee would be awesome. Because I'm done with getting stuck under the ledges, it's so stupid. Speaking of nothing... I was thinking of wall jumping... I mean, it can't really be that hard programming, since it's Object (character) + Contact with another object (the wall) + button press (it would be left key if you're touching a right wall and etc) = Transform + movement. The only problem I see is how does it know which wall it's touching... But that can be resolved by making an invisible object IN each and every wall... About a 2 min programming, and about 30 secs worth of copying job. Just my personal opinion though...

| There should be Brawl, Melee, and N64 stages, and if someone already said this, then sorry.
And maybe a stage builder eventually.

| Yes, a stage builder would be awesome. Imagine all the kick-ass stuff they could put in it... Man, Brawl left out so many things in the Stage creator.... The possibilities are endless! *drools* | |

*drools* A Stage Builder would take too much data, and would make the game laggy....

| I don't think so. I've seen massive flash games with stage creators, that aren't baring even the slightest trace of lag.
Not to mention, I really don't believe data is what actually makes a flash game laggy. I thought it was determined by how many things you had running at the same time. Hell, to prove this: If you play a 1v1 match, you'll experience little or no lag. However, if you play a 2v2 match, you'll experience some (or in my case, a lot) of lag. If your logic is correct, the 1v1 should be just as laggy as the 2v2. Sure, extra data may extend the time it takes for the pre-loader to complete, but it shouldn't affect the gameplay (Unless it's something like those Goombas and Koopas in peach's castle, which move around and actually do something whilst you're playing. Speaking of which, that level is proving to be quite a hassle to play without lag, even on low quality :().
So from what I've gathered, adding a stage builder is just a matter of if the producers want to, or can.

You are quite correct. Lag does indeed only occur with data currently being processed, and as such, a stage builder is a possibility. Unfortunately, more animations are not, as Flash handles in which objects are currently running, not which frames are currently running, so it's technically handling all the animations for each character at once.

| Well, i got an idea:
The stages name would be Sonic Nostalgia, and as the Sonic series second stage,(If this game HAS second stages) it would morph from three different classic Sonic stages, first it would go from Starlight Zone from Sonic 1, then to Emerald Hill Zone from Sonic 2, then Finally Sky Sanctuary Zone from Sonic 3 & Knuckles, each stage would have its own little gimmicks:
Starlight Zone would have its own little gimmicks, and enemies, Loopdee loops would be present, and run-on-able, can't remember what else it had, been a long time.
Emerald Hill Zone would scroll, it would have its Buzz Bombers, Crabmeats, Choppers, and Coconuts, spikes and other hazards appear as well, but this stage allows a minimal bit of exploration, secret paths, higher up places, and other things would be reachable, the screen streches a bit more than normal on this stage. and as an easter egg, every 3 minutes, classical Sonic Tails, and even Dr.Robotnik would pass by the players quick enough for you to just notice them(If its possible).
Sky sanctuary wouldn't scroll, it'd just be HUGE, a tiny bigger than Hyrule Temple, it would feature clouds that you can rebound off of, the litttle warp ball things would also appear, acting like the pipes from the second Mario stage from the first Smash, it would feature those weird green spining things you could hop on in Sonic 3&K, Mecha Sonic would sometimes come down and wreak havoc amoungst players, by either spawning those weird eggman looking robots that have guns, taking items, spindashing around damaging player, shoot a huge lazer that would deal great amounts of damage(Kinda like Spear Pillar in Brawl), sometimes move while shooting the lazer, or simply stand there doing nothing, acting as a sheild or an obstacle.
Each stage would only appear for a minute and a half, more maybe two minutes, the stage would have the three songs, but also have two MORE classic Sonic songs, like the Ocarina of Time remix complation in Brawl.
Hope you like the idea. | |

| @RedCap-BlueSpikes: That sounds like a good idea, but how would the whole Sonic/Tails/Robotnik thing on EHZ work out if they pass every 3 minutes and you're only on the stage for 1 1/2 minutes. How about just occasionally they appear. Great idea though. | |

I mean't every three minutes they would appear, on the stages own set timer, so ever third passing of the stage, they would dash by. Or it they could come every two and a half minutes.

| Stage Idea: BurgerTime Photo: (Will not be used in game. Only for reference.) This stage is based off of the first stage in the game and inspired by 75m. Click spoiler for mechanics and notes to programer(s). - Spoiler:
Click on the "BurgerTime" link at the top of my post if there is some stuff that I failed to mention.
The burger parts/layers act like drop-through platforms (Or whatever you call those things that fall when you touch them!), going down one layer if no one's on it; if someone's on it, the added weight of the fighter will send the layer crashing down three layers.
When a layer lands on another, it goes down one layer too, unless if someone's standing on the landed-on layer, then he gets crushed, giving 2/3 knockback power that a Home-Run Bat smash would offer.
The dark blue platforms are in the background, as are the burger trays at the bottom of the screen. When the burger parts land on the burger tray, they too go to the background.
When a complete burger is made, one of the following items would appear in the near center of the stage: Ice Cream = 5 HP Coffee = 10 HP French Fries = 15 HP
When all of the burgers are completed, well, they resume their original places when the game started. Sorry, this is the only level!
Also, one of the Mr. Hot Dogs will be replaced by a Mr. Pickle although their AI's are exactly the same.

Litsen, Gregovitch, enough with the one-lined "what about this *blah-blah*. it was cool." requests! Read the rules. It says the you shouldn't do that sort of stuff or else the thing you requested won't be remembered ever again. Do you want Bowser's Galaxy Lair to be forgotten forever? Then next time, make a request like me. (See BurgerTime post above.)

It's <insertnounhere>" Instead, actually CONTRIBUTE by giving ideas about how it would work, on where the characters would be, stage hazards, etc. Jesus H.
